TEC CAREEr PROGRAMS
Pura Vida Divers now offers 2 Technical Diving Career Programs. These include Tec Deep and Tec Deep Sidemount. Like our other Career Programs, they are eligible for Veterans Benefits through the GI BILL®. Read more about them below!
Dive professional career level 4
tec deep
The Tec Deep Program includes PADI Tec 40, Tec 45, and Tec 50 Courses. Once completed, the program prepares students to take the next step in Technical Diving.
Prerequisites
To begin the Tec Deep Program, students must meet the requirements below:
- At least 18 years old
- Certified as a PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent)
- Proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives. Of these dives:
- 20 must be on EANx deeper than 60ft
- 15 must be deeper than 100ft
- Complete a PADI Diving Medical Statement signed by a doctor (MD or DO) and dated within the previous 12 months
- Have Diving Accident Insurance (Divers Alert Network Insurance is recommended)

tec deep SIDEMOUNT
The Tec Deep Sidemount Program bundles PADI Technical Sidemount with PADI Tec 40, Tec 45, and Tec 50 Courses. The addition of sidemount to this program gives students more options when technical diving. Once completed, students will be prepared to advance as technical divers in the sidemount configuration.

- At least 18 years old

Palm Beach is home to many reefs and wrecks that qualify as Technical Dive Sites. In addition to being perfect for training, many of these sites are frequented by pelagic creatures like bull sharks, lemon sharks, and large schools of predatory fish (jacks, bonita, etc). Furthermore, our long reef systems (60ft range) allow for long Rebreather dives with minimal decompression obligations. When you enroll in our Tec Courses or Professional Programs, you’ll enjoy diving on some of our most popular sites such as Playground, Hole in the Wall, and Korimu.
